About us

Helping you feel stronger and move better.

wellbeing that works is a specialist physiotherapy and rehabilitation service created to improve access to high quality pelvic health, physiotherapy, and community based rehabilitation across Suffolk and the surrounding areas, including our main clinic sites in Colchester, Ipswich and Eye.

The service was established to meet real local need, particularly in pelvic health and community rehabilitation, where access is limited and waiting times can be long.

As a subsidiary of AHP Suffolk CIC, wellbeing that works benefits from the strong clinical governance, safety standards and trusted reputation of a long-established NHS healthcare provider that supports communities across Suffolk.

We provide care in clinics, at home, and within supported living and care home environments, ensuring people receive the support they need in the place they feel most comfortable. Our team combines clinical expertise with a warm, human approach that helps people feel informed, understood and confident in their care – take a look at our recent Google reviews!

Our founding story

wellbeing that works was created by clinicians and leadership teams within AHP Suffolk CIC who recognised that many people across the region were living with symptoms that significantly affected their comfort, mobility and confidence, yet were struggling to access timely, specialist care.

They saw:

  • Increasing need for pelvic health support for both women and men
  • Gaps in rehabilitation within care homes and supported living settings
  • Limited availability of affordable, flexible physiotherapy
  • Long NHS waiting lists for pelvic health and bone, muscle and joint issues
  • A growing demand for at home and community-based rehabilitation services

wellbeing that works was created to bridge these gaps – offering fast, flexible, evidence-based support delivered with the same high standards, safety and governance used across AHP Suffolk CIC.

Physiotherapy specialist giving consultation

I am a specialist pelvic health physiotherapist with over 15 years of clinical experience in pelvic health and physiotherapy, supporting both women and men with a wide range of pelvic health conditions. I hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Women’s Health Physiotherapy from the University of Bradford, and have worked closely across urology, gynaecology, and colorectal services.

I treat a broad range of conditions including bladder and bowel dysfunction, pelvic pain, prolapse, and postnatal recovery, and I also offer comprehensive postnatal assessments such as the Mummy MOT. My background in musculoskeletal physiotherapy allows me to take a holistic, whole-body approach, particularly where pelvic symptoms are linked with movement, posture, or persistent pain.

I’m passionate about helping people feel confident and in control of their bodies again, using a combination of education, practical strategies, and tailored rehabilitation.

Outside of work, I enjoy staying active, I teach reformer Pilates and regularly take part in triathlons, which helps inform my approach to rehabilitation and return to exercise.

I am a Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with experience working across the NHS, private practice, and professional sport. Working within a variety of clinical and performance environments has enabled me to support a diverse range of individuals, including office workers, tradespeople, patients with persistent pain, pre- and post-operative patients, as well as recreational and elite athletes.

My background includes an undergraduate degree in Sport and Exercise Science, followed by a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from the University of East Anglia. Alongside my academic training, I have gained additional qualifications and experience in sports massage therapy and personal training, strengthening my understanding of strength and conditioning and exercise prescription.

I take an active, patient-centred approach to rehabilitation, focusing on education to help individuals manage the physical and psychological effects of pain while supporting sustainable short- and long-term health choices.

Outside of work, I enjoy staying active through regular resistance training, padel, golf, and running. Having completed the Edinburgh Marathon last year, I understand firsthand the physical and mental demands involved in training, recovery, and managing an injury. These experiences, combined with my clinical work, allow me to effectively tailor rehabilitation and training programmes to each individual’s goals, lifestyle, and sporting demands.

I’m Brandon, a qualified physiotherapist with over 8 years of experience helping people recover from injury, manage pain, and improve the way they move. Alongside my private practice, I continue to work within the NHS, most recently as a Centre Lead Physiotherapist across multiple NHS sites in Suffolk. Remaining actively involved in the NHS allows me to stay up to date with the latest evidence, rehabilitation approaches, and treatment pathways.

I have experience treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, from sports injuries and post-operative rehabilitation to persistent back and neck pain, joint problems, and arthritis. My approach is evidence-based, practical, and tailored to the individual, with a strong emphasis on exercise rehabilitation, movement improvement, and patient education, while also incorporating hands-on treatment where it may support recovery and symptom management.

Whether you’re recovering from an injury, dealing with ongoing aches and pains, or working towards getting back to sport or everyday activities, I aim to offer clear advice and treatment that is tailored to your needs.

I’m Liam, a senior musculoskeletal physiotherapist with broad experience supporting people with a range of musculoskeletal conditions, including those who want to stay active or remain at work, return to sport, or manage persistent pain.

I have worked in NHS MSK physiotherapy as a senior physiotherapist over recent years, developing a strong depth of knowledge in simple and complex conditions, including persistent back pain, sciatica and muscle or joint issues. I pride myself on clear communication and helping patients feel listened to, so treatment plans are shaped around their goals, concerns and expectations.

I am passionate about helping people stay active, keep working and exercise without pain. I support people who want to remain in, progress in or return to work or sport, and have particular experience treating both persistent pain and more acute concerns through movement, rehabilitation plans and hands-on manual therapy.
